Well, the Deger tracking problem is solved. They came by last Friday (oops, forgot to blog about it) and replaced the malfunctioning parts. The problems had lasted a couple months, and the one array was tabled-topped for almost two weeks.
Now we are back up to 100 percent.
April is the fifth best month for solar energy generation, and we will obviously not generate the predicted amount of electricity (again) with one array table-topped for almost half the month. But May is supposed to be our third biggest producing month, so we are really crossing our fingers, toes and anything else we can find that all systems function smoothly over the summer months.
