Every farm needs a field, so if we are about to be solar farmers, why not call it a “solar field”. With any luck, the installation crew will start Monday and I’ll be able to post some pics next week. But for now, let’s take a look at the blank canvas on which they’ll be painting. I took these pics a couple weeks ago, when the field of sunflowers (how appropriate!) were in full bloom. You can see them in the view from the north.
